Monday Mobility: Medial Chain Work


Can't sit crossed-legged?  This one is for you.

Most athletes deal with junked up and tight medial tissues and it may not affect you immediately it is bound to catch up eventually.  Long term tightness and hyper activity can lead to adductor/groin
strains and even longer term, stress fractures to the pelvis.  Tight medial chains throw your biomechanics into chaos by causing your knee to cave in, causing your ankle to collapse and your arch to disappear (yes it happens that quickly).  Take care of that medial chain and let your hips open up.
