X-Rays of Motion & Movement

Nothing overly informational in this post but some great looks at x-rays in different positions.  We take a lot for granted in how our body moves and the stress we put on it from position to position and some of these x-rays show just that.

In the sit up one notice how pulling your head/neck forward can put a huge flexion on your spine and compress the vertebrae together.  That can be a lot of un-needed stress for an exercise that is supposed to help you get more fit.

Ever wear high-heels?  Check out how bad that can compress your ankle joints and that is just your bones it doesn't take into account all the stress to the soft tissues.
